Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, has achieved a lot within 33 years of his life. There are billions of people joining on Facebook each month while Zuckerberg spends billions of dollars on medical research through his Chan Zuckerberg foundation. Well, there are few things about the Facebook

1. He nearly worked for Microsoft

During his senior high school, he and Adam D’ Angelo invented an app called Synapse Media Player, an MP3 player that kept records of favourite songs and made a playlist based on their choices. Microsoft tried to acquire the company, but the founders got patent on the app and went to college. (Adam is the founder of Quora.)

2. Facebook’s colour scheme and his eyesight

Zuckerberg has red-green colour blindness which led him to use blue and white for Facebook’s logo.

3. He is multilingual

He has interest in ancient languages like Latin and can speak Mandarin.


4. He was innovative in middle school

Zuckerberg created an instant messaging application, ZuckNet, for his dentist father to know the arrival of patients. He was only 12 back then.

5. He turned down offers to sell Facebook

Big companies like Google, Microsoft, MySpace and Yahoo wanted to buy Facebook, but Zuckerberg held his firm.

6. A dozen of people manage his Facebook page

A team of 12 people operate his Facebook page monitoring comments and pictures, and his posts.


7. He is protective of his privacy

He made some significant legitimate steps to ensure privacy. He bought a $100 million plot of land in Hawaii in 2014 and decided not to sue the people who own portions of the property through generational ties. He also tried to demolish four houses in and around his home in Palo Alto, Calif.

8. He cannot be blocked on Facebook

Blocking Zuckerberg or Priscilla is not an option on Facebook. An error message pops up if you try to block them reading “this profile can’t be blocked for now.”
